Sponsoring a HoneyCat

Help save a life today!!

Some of the cats at Honeycat Rescue must remain as permanent residents due to health or other reasons, however they still need some TLC and a visit from a friendly face if possible. So if you can’t re-home one of our cats consider sponsoring one of these.

Sponsoring is only £1 per month and you can choose which beautiful cat you would like to sponsor.

You will receive a photo and certificate at the start of the sponsorship, an update with a photo after six months and a final update and photo at the end of the twelve months. Updates can be sent via post or e-mail.

Interested in sponsoring one of our Honeycats?

Please fill in the form at the bottom of this page.

If you would like to visit your sponsor cat please call 07891 207 303 to arrange a suitable time to ensure someone can be there to show you around.

Tabitha

Tabitha

Tabitha and Scarlett have come into Honeycat together. When they initially came in they were a little timid but they have definately come out of their shells now!

Ruby

Ruby

Ruby is a stunning ginger and white polydactyl girl. When she first arrived she was called Benji as she was believed to be a boy. She's related to Patcha, they came from a home where the elderly lady didn’t spay her cats then they had kittens who weren’t spayed etc and before you know it a colony of cats are there!

Patcha

Patcha

Patcha is a special black and white polydactyl girl. She came from a home where the elderly lady didn’t spay her cats then they had kittens who weren’t spayed etc and before you know it a colony of cats are there!

Lupin

Lupin

Lupin is a stunningly beautiful girl. She only around 18 months old. She was found on a building site with 2 other girls who we believe to be her mum and sister. Since they were rehomed, Lupin has gone back into her shell again. While they learnt to trust humans, she's not quite managed it yet.

Ronnie

Ronnie

Ronnie is one of our shyer lads, especially since his brother Reggie was rehomed. He was the quieter of the pair but he really does adore other cats company. He is often found curled up sleeping with a different cat each time.

Ali

Ali

Ali is one of 3 ferals that came from London. They were found on the streets as youngsters, we believe they were treated quite badly before this. She is quite young at around 18-24 months old but despite our efforts she has not been convinced that we are trustworthy. She is vaccinated but not spayed yet as we’ve had a few failed attempts to catch her. Her favourite places are in the ceiling hiding or behind the oven!

Violet

Violet

Rescued from a hoarders home in Wales with Rolo and Cuddles. She was pregnant when she came in but sadly her kittens didn’t make it. She's around 2 years old and she really does prefer other cats to humans.

Gizgog

Gizgog

He is a very handsome silver tabby cat. He gets on well with all our other Honeycats and will happily curl up to have a nap with them. However, Gizgog takes his time with people and at first meeting he will often scarper. Once he gets to know you, he'll enjoy a stroke from you every now and then.

Precious

Precious

She is very shy. She came from Egypt and is a beautiful lady with a sweet miaow. Sadly, before she came to the rescue, she was kept in a pen for a year as she was thought to be 'ugly' which, as you can imagine, dented her confidence. At the rescue we built her confidence back up and we believed she was ready to be re-homed. This was all too much for her and it meant she couldn't settle and had to come back to the rescue.

Princess

Princess

I know what you're thinking, Princess by name, Princess by nature? Well you're absolutely right, she is a Princess and a lovely Princess at that too. Once she's got to know a visitor she loves to pur and roll around showing off just how adorable she is. She gets on with the other cats too and really is a joy to look after. She would welcome her sponsor(s) to come and visit her to make a fuss of her just like a Princess deserves. Her nick name is also Tabby Tabs.

TC

TC

TC is one of our permanent residents due to his shyness. He can often be spotted sunbathing as long as you don't approach him or he tends to reside in one of our wendy houses or as this photo shows, behind our brick sheds door and under the water butt. He has arthritis in his back legs so unfortunately he limps some of the time. He is a lovely boy but sadly time hasn't taught him that we can be trusted.

Prospect

Prospect

He is a very happy friendly chap. You may be able to see from his photo that his fur looks patchy. This is due to a skin condition that he suffers from (part of the reason he is a sponsor only cat) and he has to have steroid injections regularly to ease the irritation he has to deal with everyday. He loves meal time and he'll come and find you if he thinks you're running late to guide you to where he wants to eat.

Ferals

Ferals

We have a number of ferals at the rescue. Some may come around but others may spend the rest of their lives with us. They do all have names of course but as I don't watch the game of thrones have no chance of spelling them until I look at their files! 6 of them came together and they are often seen curled up with other Honeycats.
